Françoise obtained her PhD in Reproductive Physiology (on Foetal Programming in Sheep) from the University of Queensland in 2006, after a varied career in 3 countries (Australia, NZ and the U.S) which included stints as an equine breeding farm manager, pig breeding unit manager, university associate lecturer and research technician. She joined Charles Sturt University in 2008 as research technician working on a Pork CRC project involving male effects on reproductive outcomes in pigs while also teaching reproduction to students in animal, equine and veterinary sciences. She then transitioned to a post-doctoral position, mainly involved with andrology laboratory services and porcine reproductive research. Since 2011, she has been the chief scientific officer for the ChenoVet Laboratory, gaining extensive experience in semen evaluation in many species, and helping to run educational programs and workshops. In 2010, she also trained in IVF procedures at Utrecht, The Netherlands under the guidance of Dr Bart Gadella. Françoise has a number of scientific publications under her belt and has presented scientific papers at a number of national and international meetings on related aspects.
